PIGMENT

"PIGMENT" is an exhibition of hybrid expression, that interweaves the world of photography, movement, and dance, with a captivating series of portraits that explore the relationship between color and identity.

The use of monochromatic hues and shades illustrates the multifaceted and plural nature of identity, relative, constantly in motion, and transcending simple aesthetics to also become a powerful expression.

A color takes on its full dimension when juxtaposed with another. In this way, each image weaves a visual story, that resonates with the diversity of peoples rooted in the region, and marks the profound richness of French Guiana's cultural mix.
