Tembeyana

Tembeyana is a multi-disciplinary nexus of creative languages that draws on French Guianese heritage to promote colorful expressions, impact socially, and connect with a global audience of art and design lovers.
“As an artist and creative, my intent is to explore the depths of human emotions and experiences through my creative expressions. I believe that art has the power to transcend boundaries, heal, provoke introspection, and foster connections between individuals, regardless of their background or beliefs.
Color is the main protagonist in my work. It provokes emotions and its heterogeneousness is the door from which I connect with my Rhizomes.
The interlacing of colors illustrates my aspiration to create a hybrid playground. This concept of “métissage” inherently linked to my personal and professional journey is expressed by merging several design disciplines, processes, or cultures because the idea of synthesis, and not of separation, is the path toward richer bonds, experiences, and outcomes. It does not aim to silence uniqueness, but it aims to recognize it and protect diversity while challenging the perception of our own identity.
Here, you’ll experience visual art, geometric poetry, movement, and artistic expressions seeking to capture and extract colorful identities, dynamic manifestations, vibrant lifestyles and auras, in hopes of inviting you to explore the beauty of the human experience from multiple vantage points.”
