Contemplation

Throughout the years, I've amassed a collection of photographs showcasing buildings, facades, textures and architectural features from various places of the world, including my home country, French Guiana. These images encapsulate powerful stories and memories, serving as poignant reminders of time's virtues. It teaches us patience, perseverance, and stillness to reflect from our inner depth. Additional characters (🦚, 🐓, etc…) pay homage to the African storytelling tradition. These creatures become narrators in their own right, imparting a sense of mythology and folklore to the visual poem. To accentuate its significance, I've chosen a minimalistic presentation, allowing these narratives to shine better. The architectural facades act as silent protagonists, embodying the universal language of structure and form. Yet, it is the infusion of bold colors that breathes life into these structures, turning them into canvases that echo the vibrant spirit of the places they inhabit.
